The Pacific Union Conference owns and operates two schools of higher education, La Sierra University, in Riverside, California, and Pacific Union College, in Angwin, California. Each of these schools is governed by its own board and constituency. For more information visit these websites:

La Sierra University - Founded in 1922, LSU is a private, co-educational Christian university, known for excellent academic and pre-professional programs. Students come from nearly every state in the U.S. and 60 countries around the world.
Pacific Union College - Founded in 1882, PUC is a fully accredited four-year college. It offers an excellent Christ-centered education that prepares its students for productive lives of useful human service and uncompromising integrity.


The Pacific Union Conference also contributes to Oakwood College, in Huntsville, Alabama, and offers limited financial assistance through the Regional Ministries department.

Oakwood University - Since 1896, Oakwood University, a historically Black Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher learning, provides quality Christian education that emphasizes academic excellence; promotes harmonious development of mind, body, and spirit; and prepares leaders in service for God and humanity.

Though located in the Pacific Union, Loma Linda University is owned and operated by the world church, the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, based in Silver Spring, Maryland.
 
Loma Linda University -  is a Seventh-day Adventist institution integrating health, science, and Christian faith. Located in Southern California, the University offers over 55 programs to 4,000 students from more than 80 countries from around the world.
